Born and brought up in Cornwall in the UK Sharon’s upbringing in the land of golden beaches, rugged cliffs and windswept moors has influenced much of her writing.

She writes stories full of mystery, magic and myth for kids of all ages. Her books have won many prizes and awards and have been short-listed for more. She has a master’s degree in Creative Writing and a second master’s degree in Writing for Young People.
