What you will need:

• A balloon
  

•  Clear adhesive tape
  

• Pins  

What to do:

Before your friends arrive secretly stick some pieces of adhesive tape to the balloon. Then tell them that your balloon is a special one - it can't be burst. Stick the pins into the balloon through the strips of tape. You will be able to see the tape but make sure your friends stand further away so that they wont and, Abracadabra, you have an unburstable balloon.

 

The Colour Changing Balloon

What you will need:

• Two balloons of different colours (say red and blue)
  

• A pin.
  

What you do:

Put one balloon inside the other then blow up the inside one and tie the neck. Before tying the neck of the outside balloon blow a little more air into it so that there will be a small gap between the two balloons. You stand in front of your friends holding an inflated blue balloon. Then secretly burst the blue balloon with a pin hidden in your hand (be careful that the pin doesn't go through both balloons) Suddenly there is a loud bang as the blue balloon bursts to reveal the red one. Abracadabra, your balloon has magically changed colour.

 

The Sticks to the Wall Balloon

 What you will need:

• A balloon.
  

 What you do:

This trick is simple but effective if your friends haven't seen it done before. Inflate the balloon and rub it on your jumper a few times. Even better you can rub it with a nylon duster. You can now put the balloon on the wall and, Abracadabra, it will stay there.
